Meet the Instructors
Meet Our 2026 Summer Camp Dream Team: Where Elite Artistry Meets Expert Education.

Discovering Chinese Aesthetics Through Art
Qian Wang
“Art is more than pigments on paper; it is a grand adventure of discovery,” says Mrs. Wang.
Bringing a global artistic perspective from the Parsons School of Design (New York) and over a decade of dedication to art education, Mrs. Wang is committed to providing a truly "immersive" creative experience. From delicate illustrations to ancient traditional crafts, she guides children through hands-on practice—including printmaking and folk arts—to help them feel the unique charm of Chinese aesthetics. This summer, Mrs. Wang will lead students on a midsummer artistic journey, creating a warm, nurturing space where every child feels brave enough to "paint" their own story.

Mastering the Art of Expression
Nina Chen
A captivating presence on the Charlotte Spring Festival stage and a beloved mentor in the classroom, Nina Chen is a true multi-hyphenate artist. With a background from the prestigious PLA Academy of Arts (Drama & Acting) and a Master of Music degree, she seamlessly blends performance, hosting, and oratory into a unique educational experience.
With years of teaching experience in Charlotte, Ning integrates professional stagecraft into Chinese language learning. Through drama, recitation, and storytelling, she transforms language from a subject into an art form. As the Director of the 2026 Charlotte Children’s Spring Festival Gala and a senior judge for the "Charlotte Cup" Recitation Competition, Nina doesn't just teach children how to pronounce words—she empowers them to find their voice and speak with confidence.

Making Chinese Learning a Joyful Adventure
Joy Chen
True to her name, Joy is a high-energy, vibrant educator who believes that learning should be as fun as it is rewarding. With ten years of teaching experience in the United States, she has a natural gift for capturing children's interests and keeping them engaged.
In Joy’s classroom, Chinese is never about dry vocabulary or rote memorization. Instead, the language comes to life through the lines of paper-cutting and calligraphy, and the laughter of situational role-plays. She celebrates the individual strengths of every student, encouraging them to create and express themselves in their own way. This summer, Joy looks forward to helping children discover the beauty of the Chinese language through play, building a lasting sense of achievement with every smile.
