Experience the Kung Fu Fan, a dynamic blend of traditional Chinese martial arts and graceful fan movements.
Charlotte Chinese Story Time is excited to invite Professor Wenfang Yang from the College of Physical Education at Shanghai Normal University to lead this special community workshop. Professor Yang will introduce participants to basic Kung Fu Fan techniques and share this energetic and culturally rich form of Chinese movement arts.
Kung Fu Fan combines strength, rhythm, coordination, and beauty. It is often seen in performances and cultural demonstrations, and it is a fun way for families to explore Chinese martial arts culture together.
This workshop is open to all ages and experience levels. Children, adults, seniors, and families are all welcome. No prior martial arts, dance, or Qigong experience is required.
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes that allow you to move easily.
