About the event
Experience Baduanjin, one of the most well-known and accessible forms of traditional Chinese Qigong.
Charlotte Chinese Story Time is excited to invite Professor Wenfang Yang from the College of Physical Education at Shanghai Normal University to lead this special community workshop. Professor Yang will introduce participants to Baduanjin, also known as Eight-Section Brocade, a traditional Chinese wellness practice with a long history.

It is easy to learn, does not require special equipment, and can be practiced by people of different ages and physical abilities. Through this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to experience a calming and meaningful part of Chinese cultural wellness tradition.
