About the event

Join us for the Final Round of the 2026 Charlotte Cup National Chinese Poetry Recitation Contest on May 10—an in-person, family-friendly event celebrating youth voices, language learning, and cultural pride.

This live competition brings together outstanding young finalists from across the United States as they perform Chinese poetry on stage after months of preparation and preliminary rounds. Each student will showcase their confidence, expression, and love for the Chinese language in front of a live audience.

Come cheer on our finalists! Your applause and encouragement make a meaningful difference and help create an unforgettable experience for these young performers.

No RSVP is required. This event is open to the public, and families, friends, educators, and community members are all welcome to attend.

The awards ceremony will begin immediately following the competition, recognizing student achievements and celebrating their hard work, growth, and dedication throughout the contest.
