About the event
Charlotte Chinese Story Time invites families across the Charlotte community to join us for the 2026 CCST Mid-Autumn Festival Cultural Fair, a family-friendly celebration of one of the most meaningful traditional Chinese festivals.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time to celebrate the full moon, family reunion, gratitude, sharing, and togetherness. For Chinese, Asian American, bilingual, and multicultural families, it is also a meaningful opportunity for children to experience cultural traditions, hear stories, create memories, and connect with their family heritage.
This year’s cultural fair will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM at Marion Diehl Recreation Center, using both the Full Gym and Multipurpose Room.
With the theme “Moonlight, Family, and Togetherness,” the event will offer a wide variety of hands-on cultural activities, traditional games, performances, and family experiences. Children and families will enjoy a shadow puppet performance of Chang’e Flying to the Moon,…
